PHAROSJOT and the editorial team affirm that every article included in our issues has undergone a rigorous double-blind peer-review process. This process ensures that each submission is independently reviewed by two experts in the field, with the identities of both the authors and reviewers kept confidential to maintain impartiality in line with the POPIA. Prior to the peer review, the editorial team assesses each article's academic quality and relevance to the journal’s scope and suitable reviewers are then requested to review.

Due two two themed issues providing numerous additional reviewers that have done sterling work, we have had an uncharacteristic 180 articles published this year. In 2026 we envisage no more than a maximum of 130 as most issues will be regular and our own reviewers team will be fully active as usual.
