Thekla is also a highly respected and rated NRF researcher and has been the recipient of multiple awards from a range of organisations. She is a Historian and Cultural Anthropologist also the co-editor of the Encyclopaedic Prosopographical Lexicon of Byzantine History and Civilization (Belgium). Professor Sansaridou-Hendrickx has an outstanding publishing record and has authored 6 books and over 100 articles of the highest quality. She has authored numerous leading texts in Classical Anthropology, Culture, Greek and French.
